About Dr. Park

Dr. Park is a physician with a sense of balance and purpose in most any situation. Dr. Andrew Park graduated with honors from the McCormick School of Engineering (Northwestern University) with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then continued his education earning his MD from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL. Dr. Park completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. In 2003, Dr. Park completed a spine fellowship at the Emory Spine Center in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Park is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Park founded the only spine fellowship program based in Dallas and recognized by the North American Spine Society. He proudly serves as Fellowship Director for the Dallas Spine Fellowship Program. Dr. Park has been named one of top 100 Spine Surgeons and Specialist in America by Becker’s Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management Review. In addition to teaching other surgeons at various seminars and symposiums, he has published original research in numerous peer review journals with regard to orthopaedic surgery and spine surgery.

Dr. Park is active as an innovator in the medical device industry. His work was instrumental in the design of the Zimmer Biomet Virage posterior cervical system. All the surgeons of Texas Spine consultants have been key contributors to numerous IDE studies including in the area of total disc replacement and pharmacologic strategies to reduce blood loss during major spinal operations.

He has been honored as one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas by D Magazine” for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
